Well I decided to give it a shot seein as its only $45 a month for unlimited and i can use my existing phone.

Its been a few days now since I got it, I had it programed and phone working in less than an hour. The data they said could take 24hrs.... well 36hrs later still no data, called customer support got cut off after 30min on hold. i clicked the live chat option also so no worries i had someone there to. while waiting for him to pull my info i was looking at the settings and sure enought. I didnt click the button to say use this APN. So i clicked it turned off my wifi and there you go. full internet and everying. I have WAY better service than I did with AT&T. I have service in places i have never had before. So if you are thinking about making the switch. I have nothing but good things to say so far.

Had a ATT plan for around 90 month. Signal didn't work very well at various locations. 1 bar max. Then they shut me off for no reason. Got it up and running , reprogrammed and still no service. After a couple of months I was told I needed a signal booster for the house. ATT wanted 350 for it. I dropped them like a rock and went straight talk for 45 month. Had it almost 1 yr and just paid 6 more months on the plan. ATT got me for the 150 termination but I am saving 45 per month. Straight talk works fine everywhere.

Doesn't "strait talk" use Verizon towers and machinery?

Need to make a cut in the Budget. They also now say they have coverage in my Home area. Which is key to what company I use. Presently Have Verizon and they barely reach home.

They piggy pack off everyone else's towers... Which towers depends on what phone you select. The phones with SIM cards use AT&T and Sprint towers and the CDMA phones use Verizon.

Yes you can use the same number. I have a better signal then most other guys at work. Some with verison and two with att. From what i heard they use both att and verisan tower and that is why you get a better signal.

It's called "Porting". You can Port you number to any carrier in the USA.
