We have had a constant deluge for going on day three in the Tampa bay area. Prediction is for about 24" + total.

So far though as stated there has been very little in the way of high winds.

Charleston like New Orleans doesn't do real well with monsoon rains, we are the Low Country.

I hope this * blows out to sea
Why don't we go to school and work on the weekends and take the week off!

They have it headed right over Columbia. Bad news .. low country will get all the water from up here when it runs down there.

My MIL is on about the highest spot on James Island. Her existing house was under construction during Hugo it came through fine. Friends that live downtown, not so much.

We actually had more rain and flooding last October then we did with Hugo.

This one projects max 8 inches of rain again it will be much less then the 17-21 we got in three days last Oct.

Respectfully, Gulf Shores is the Redneck Riviera. Myrtle is Jersey Shores south but with better food and proper sweet tea....
