Carta Blanca are my favorite when you can find them.
I drink Dos Equis..and Corona, when they don`t serve Dos Equis.

Well, I never HAVE claimed to be a man of refined tastes, unless we're talking about Scotch. In that case, I prefer a good single malt, my favorite being The Glenlivet, with just a splash of water, if you please.

I'm not much of a drinking man. I've seen too many lives wasted away by booze. However, a cold Miller Lite once in a great while with a well-prepared meal sure does hit the spot.

For me Guiness extra stout, non of that draft swill they try to pass off as beer(Tastes like Coors lite)
Have guns,will travel
Amber Bock is good.I like MGD pretty good too.
I don`t drink during the week,
unless I`m out to dinner with Mrs Bee,
then I`ll have 2 or 3.
Now the weekends, while out of town for a show,
I`ve been known to step it up a notch.

Tried brewing my own a while back. Let me know if you would like a bottle of "Crazy Osuma's Camel P*ss" I used too much suger so it has half the taste and twice the alcohol.

I forgot to answer the original question....where to get worts...Frugal Home Brewer in Waukesha, Wisconsin...and Home Brewing Depo in Milwaukee. Midwest Homebrewing Supplies ( midwestsupplies.com ) and The Brew Hut ( thebrewhut.com ) These last two will mail order rapidly...
Buy your hops as fresh as possible, or frozen. I stay away from pellets, as they are messier, and tend to cloud the brew.
Get a copy of "The Brewmaster's Bible" as there are very good directions for brewing from extract (the cheater meathod), and from mash, which in my opinion is the only true beer. The book contains many good recipies, and many techniques which are hepfull for developing your own style of brew...

lets all be responsible! shoot a criminal!
You know, it's easier to just say I can't stand Pabst, Busch, Old Style, Milwaukee's Best or any other ultra-cheap crap.
I also enjoy several types of home brews, but I've also had a few that were terrible.

When I couldn't get the Mexican beers I would drink whatever sounded good -- Heineken (Clint Eastwood's brand), Michelob, Bud, Pabst Blue Ribbon, Hamm's, Coors, Rolling Rock, Busch, Miller -- I went through phases. At midwestern weddings, I used to drink the local drafts like Falstaff or Old Crown Ale, which could be pretty terrible if they'd "gone off." I believe I've also tried Carling Black Label, Drewery's and a few of the other defunct old favorites.
Perhaps it shouldn't surprise anyone, given all that, that I'm now a sober 'oldtimer.'

I always keep a stock Bud Light on hand as well...just to make sure all the bases are covered for guests. Glasses are always chilled in the freezer, along with small tumblers for Jack and martini glasses in case it's not just the guys hanging out.
