I have come to the conclusion that there is a fine line between being politically incorrect and being ignorant, arrogant, and insulting.

And after 3 minutes of listening to some shrill b**ch of a Liberal actress who knows nothing she hasnt seen on CNN, berate a syndicated political columnist (who happens to be Republican), I am about ready to hit something.

I was trying to know my enemy, but it's like watching a group of monkeys pick fleas off each other's fur and throw feces at any other animal that comes nearby.

    Take solace in the fact that the little worm snd his show only have six weeks left before they pull the plug on a permanent basis. The advertisers left the show in droves after Bill's little remark about the military being cowards shortly after the 9/11 tragedy..
    I make a point of not watching it, however I made an exception to this rule one night when Ted Nugent was on the program. Ted Ted made Bill and one of his feminazi actress friends look like *. He did it in such a friendly likeable way...they were sitting there nodding their heads up and down and agreeing that they were *. Maher realized what was going on...they cut to a commercial...and they did not bring up hunting or guns for the rest of the program.

    Having done some work for Bill in the past I can assure You all that His political convictions are almost nil, He only follows the direction his bosses give Him, if He comes off as ultra liberal or radically anti anything, You can bet it's someone elses idea not His, He will try to shock the viewer much like Stern or Imus or any of the myriad of talk show wannabees, Bill is a performer, He is a very intelligent man and knows comedy, but don't confuse Him with Oprah or Hanoi Jane, He is just doing a job.

    I also love how you capitalize "Him", like he's Jesus or something.

    I have gone so far as to log onto the network's website and find the show's chat board or e-mail or whatever and try to give them some constructive criticism, because that show is a mess. In the first place, with all due respect, Bill defends his own opinions and points of view with great passion and enthusiasm, so much so that he frequently "shouts down" his guests and even belittles them for their remarks. Since he comes off on this show as such a doofus, it doesn't exactly work like "Crossfire." Poor Bill looks like an idiot. I feel sorry for the guy because the show's concept of getting four celebs together and hearing what they have to say on current events is a good dam* concept -- they just couldn't have picked a worst host.

    Moreover, it's a waste of a perfectly good TV show title -- there's absolutely NOTHING POLITICALLY INCORRECT about Bill Maher's point of view 99.9% of the time -- he's clearly a Democrat liberal and most of his berating of other guests has to do with their conservative opinions on things, including gun rights.

    I'm glad the show is over. If I were a producer (and I was almost, once) I would repackage this show with a decent host and you know what? It would be a hit. Maher mars the show beyond repair. Pun intended.

    Bill should keep his day job. He's better at stand up. When he tries to get serious, he really looks like a loudmouth fool with nothing insightful or "P I-C" to say about any topic they pick.

    If you notice, Jody capitalized the he's when referring to Bill Maher in his post. Like Maher was Him or something.

    Seemed really, really odd to me and I decided to point it out. I believe it was intentional. He obviously likes the guy a whole lot....

    Could be a difference in the way browsers see the text, but I also see every reference to Bill with a capital "H" for he and him. This is incorrect grammatically. I'm not even sure royalty gets that treatment. Hey, we're not all super typists around here, so let's assume the people who capitalize funny, or don't capitalize at all, or capitalize everything, are fighting their computers, not making an intellectual point.

    I've watched parts of it on a few occasions when there's a guest on the show whom I think might make Billy look like a fool. I'm usually disappointed. I doubt I've watched a sum total of more than two hours of the sorry-assed show.

    If we start pointing out all the grammatical mistakes, and spelling mistakes on this board, we're not gonna get much else discussed. This place is an English teachers nightmare. Maher is a POS, but there is no reason to bash someone because they like a POS, that's their right.
