National GunBroker Get-Together?

edited April 2004 in General Discussion
This has been discussed a number of times but always seems to fall through. Does anyone know if there are any concrete plans? I'd sure like to get something going. I believe someone earlier suggested a nice central location such as Nebraska or Oklahoma.

Just looking for input on ideas, times, location, etc etc.

Thanks!! [^][^][^]

May I suggest someplace where the familys can get together and a nice range where we can shoot if we would like. More alike a GB family reunion. we need to plan far enough ahaed to make arrangements. [8D]

    Kansas works too!

We definitely need to plan a long time ahead so that everyone can do their best to schedule for it. That's why I'm really trying to get the ball rolling now. [^]

I'm interested- Just pick a location and find a time when the local hotels will not be clogged up and make sure there is a campground within a reasonable distance for those who want to bring their own accomodations. make sure there is a range handy . Try to work out something with a few hotels that are close together and then post the info and see what happens. Things will probably start small , but after a couple of get togethers, it will build up. Twice a year might be nice. We'll fine tune it as we go.

How about August? Most schools haven't started up in August so people with kids could consider taking time off and bringing the whole family along without worring about hurrying back to wherever they came from because of school constraints?

September would work best for me but I think August would probably work best for folks with children. I might just have to ride my motorcycle if it's in Kansas! Sounds like a hoot! Count me in!

How about Hawaii? I would love to go back to hawaii and shoot things!! Just joking. Good idea, but I am poor and wouldn't be able to go. Maybe for the third annual.[V]
