This is the first of several nice M1's which I will be offering up over the next few months:

This rifle has good looking USGI wood and an excellent condition barrel. I priced it to sell, so feel free to take a look at it.

I've been buying M1s faster than I'm listing them for sale so I need to get one up tonight:

    HRA66955432_zpscb06fc3e.jpg
    HRA66955433_zpseecc1ca1.jpg

This is a good solid rifle which went through rebuilding at Benicia Arsenal and has an excellent condition barrel. This is not a fancy safe queen, but it should be a great shooter and since the CMP no longer offers a choice of manufacturers, you won't roll the dice not knowing what you'll receive.

I just picked up a very clean H&R M1 and I really want to turn it so I have it up on a three day auction:
    http://www.GunBroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=548059350

This is a good solid rifle which would be a nice fit in anyone's gun safe, plus the opening bid is at the CMP issue price and you won't have to wait three-plus months to get one from the CMP.

This one fell into my lap on Friday when the A/C gave out on the Chevy Tahoe belonging to a man who's wife wanted it fixed...and right now (it has been in the mid 90's here all week)!

This is a super clean Harrington and Richardson which was rebuilt at Springfield Armory in early 1965, probably for shipment to Vietnam. For whatever reason, this rifle escaped that fate and it looks as though it sat unissued in an arms room for the last fifty years. The wood looks great, the barrel is like new and the overall condition is excellent. This is the first H&R that I've been able to offer since March, so if you are looking for one I'd give it serious consideration.

I picked this rifle up on Thursday from a neighbor who's daughter needs braces more than he needs an M1, or so his wife told him! It is not a bad looking rifle and is pretty typical of what the CMP has been shipping lately...If you want to wait around five months.

The rack number on the left rear of the stock looks to have been put on with some sort of heavy felt tip "Magic Marker" and could probably be removed with some sort of solvent. I never touch this stuff and leave it to the buyer to decide to keep it or to remove it. Birch stocks are what they are; buyers either love them or hate them, but all in all this is not a bad looking rifle and the barrel is in good shape.

I purchased this in a private sale on Thursday, and I want to turn it ASAP:

H&Rs been backordered at the CMP have for the past five months and this is the first H&R I've been able to obtain in quite a while. There is no longer any choice of manufacturer at the CMP so this is a chance to guarantee an H&R without rolling the dice. This is a very nice looking rifle which shows very little wear, has a great barrel and a really good looking walnut stock set. If you've been waiting on an extremely nice M1, or if you specifically want an H&R, then this rifle bears consideration.

My plans seem to be falling into place, which means that I have several M1 Rifles which I want to move out. The first to go is a good looking H&R which I purchased from a private party back in 2005 and has been gathering dust ever since:

This is a solid rifle with a very good barrel and would serve well on the range or in the field.

Back from vacation and might as well hit the ground running. I just listed a good looking H&R M1 which had a very nice barrel:

    http://www.GunBroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=439943331

The CMP is no longer allowing buyers to specify manufacturers (it is luck of the draw between Springfield or Harrington and Richardson now), so if you want an H&R this is a good chance to get one.

I picked this rifle up locally. It is not a safe queen by any stretch, but it is a solid rifle with a good barrel that would be right at home in the field:

I listed this rifle last night and it is a nice one:

    https://www.GunBroker.com/item/744750074

This is one of my own rifles which I purchased, put into the safe and never did anything with it. USGI walnut stock sets with correct markings and in excellent condition was common back in those days, but are hard to find today. I'm sure you'll like this rifle.

I just listed this M1 tonight and it is on a five day auction:

    https://www.GunBroker.com/item/768662829

This is a good looking H&R from their first production run and these are not too common. The barrel is in excellent shape and the over all condition of the rifle is very good or better. This rifle is right out of my personal collection, so I assure you that it is a good one.

This is from H&Rs last production run and they are a bit hard to find. The wood is in very good shape, as is the barrel. This rifle is right out of my personal collection, so I assure you that it is a good one.
