How come if just one person disagrees with something, then the majority of people have to give in.

Like if one person doesnt want the ten commandments near a goverment building.. but the other 99.9% of people don't mind. Then it gets removed.

Or if one person complains about Maxim magazine at walmart. They have to remove every single magazine from every single store, to make that one person happy. What about the majority that don't mind it there.

I'm talking about the National Firearm Buying Day post that was a sticky. A few people for some reason or another get annoyed by stickies, so then eveyrone else has to give in, just to make a couple people, the minority, happy.

If stickies annoy you that, then that should be the LEAST of your worries.

Some people aren't happy unless they have something to * about ... kinda like an old busy-body neighbor I had years ago [:(]

It has been my experience that human nature dictates that instead of an intellegent approach to a concern or problem for a most equitable and positive resolve a good nonproductive argument or fight will do instead. "I/we won't be happy until everyone else is as unhappy as me/us".

    ruger270man,

No problem with the "stickies" here. Just like other posts, I can choose to click and read, or just scroll on by. Apparently some
cannot choose, cannot scroll down, or, just complain until they get their way, thereby having a good feeling for a few moments. You know, like a three year old child does.

Be your own sticky kind of guy. Just bring it BTT when you feel it is far enough down. That is what I am doing with the "what state do you live in?" post. That will give people a chance to read and respond. When your day gets a LOT closer, maybe it can be a real sticky then. But stuck at the top for the next 6-7 months???

    bama55: im with you!
If you dont want to read it, pass it up.

Just like the magazines in stores. If they are objectionable have them high on the rack to keep them out of little hands or behind the counter to ask for. JMHO

to BTT with least hassle just edit once and type "edit=btt" at the bottom. Next time find the post, click on "edit" then click on, "post changes"

I thought the sticky on gun buying day was appropriate.
