Laws for the people, not the Feds...

Who, but Congress, could allow a law to expire, because of its potential for abuse? Not the AWB or PATRIOT, but the one put in place after Watergate, that forced an investigation into allegations of criminal wrongdoing by high gov't officials - used in Clintons case. So, now they DON'T have to investigate the White House leak of the agents name, inless they want to!

Yet, yesterday Mr. Ed Meese stated that the PATRIOT Act has no potential for abuse, has not been abused and should be left as it is currently written. Ah yes, and he also stated that librarians were in the business of handing out porn to kiddies, when questioned on the National Library Associations statements and position on PATRIOT. Nor did he answer the question.[}:)]
I am amazed. Perhaps slime just rises to the top.[:(!]
