If value was equal(whitch it is not). Whitch gun would you rather have? Not for any spocific use, just for. A S&W 586, or an M1 Garand?

In an apocalyptic scenario where you have to get back to your compound. The reason you left is you had to get the anti virus
(it's airborne). Also you have an injured arm and can not use a long gun.

I'd prefer Ranger SXT in either caliber to the bullets listed. Ranger 127 gr +P+ would go nicely with the Glock 17

I will take a Glock 29 with 15 round mags and 200 grain Underwood XTP ammo. [:D]

I would take the Glock 17, but loaded with Underwood 115+p+ ammo.

Neither. 9mm is too light, 1911 doesn't have enough capacity. I'd take a Springfield XDm 45 5.25 Competition with two 13 round magazines. Total ammo capacity: 27 rounds of .45 ACP.

Also, I would prefer either Winchester Ranger 230 gr. JHPs or Winchester White Box 230 gr. JHPs.
