Ruger LCR - Awesome - Get One

I had the pleasure to demo the new Ruger LCR revolver. It went so well I kept 2 of them. This is an incredible gun and a great design for Ruger. I was not a fan of it and even scoffed at the chance to demo one. I did a quick 180. The gun is very light weight and easy to control. I did not shoot any +P, but with standard fmj it was GREAT. The trigger pull, cylinder design and sleek design are masterful. It grouped very well up to 50'. I will try a few different loads to see what handles best. I also ended up with an extra one that I posted for sale on the auction side. This post was not intended to be an attempt to lure bidders but make more of you aware of one really great new gun. Get one if you can.

I've heard some great things about the LCR. It fits into holsters designed for the SP-101, right?
if the purpose was to make a concealable gun why would you want to carry it in a holster meant for a big bulky job?
I will take my pearl handled Lady Smith any day.

Dave- pls post a link to your auction

The SP-101 isn't that large. Are you thinking of the GP-100 maybe?
Although it is rated for +P I don't think I want to try it. And I do agree it is ugly - that was my initial opinion. After shooting it, beauty is in the eyes of the shooter.

Has Ruger fixed all of the LCR's that were recalled recently?
They recalled the LCP, not the LCR.
