I watched Shane last night on AMC. Geat Movie! I am curious to find out what movies make the favorite Westerns list? He's a quick 5 I could think of off the top of my head.
1. Fort Apache
2. The Searchers
3. Rio Bravo
4. The Good, the Bad and the Ugly
5. Tall in the Saddle

Can you tell I'm a John Wayne fan?[:D]

    Tombstone would have to be one of my favorites. I liked young guns too.
    All the old ones are good too. What was the one where John Wayne's character had cancer? I remember thinkin that was a good one.

    I have many favorites, but my all time best is:

    The man who shot Liberty Valance, with John Wayne, Jimmy Stewart, and Lee Marvin.

    The Alamo is my second favorite.
