I just got one and am I tickled pink, a professional grade, coffee, cappuccino and espresso maker. The user manual has 37 pages, it has more functions in the electronic menu than my cell phone does.

My mom bought my wife and I a fact. referb. Kitchen Aid Mixer for our wedding gift.

Still runs good. She only uses it for mashed potatoes and I use it to grind deer meat in the fall/winter.

I don't know about refurbished but I like to re-gift things to / from the family whenever possible.

factpry refurbs are mechanically every bot as good as new products. they may have blems on the outside, but the important bits work just fine.

anybody who turns their nose up at a gift, be it used, refurbed, or new but of low quality doesnt deserve it. keep it for yourself or return it.
