Ar style....my friend bought one today @ a gun show.Anyone have any knowledge of the "Sig"?

    They have an AR platform. And an AR "looking" platform.

    Since I don't know anything about them, I don't know which one he got..I know he paid 1500.00 and a Colt was lying next to it for 999.00....If I was into Ar rifles, it would be the Colt....Believe it are not I own a "Mini" 14 and and carried a M1 Carbine....never cared for any AR...

    I do not own either.
    But I do have a fair number of SIG firearms.

    And I intend to own more.

    I've been impressed with the fit, finish and functioning of all of them.

    The price he paid is not out of hand, and may have been a bargain depending on what he purchased.

    If it was a m400 he over paid. If it is a sig 556 he did ok

    Piston operated and excellent weapons in my opinion.
