Glock 17

I have 2 glock 17 that my wife and daughter shoots, I am looking to lighten the trigger on both. The 3.5 lb dissconnect is the only thing needed to do this or is thier more involved for lighten the trigger pull?

Might get a glock 17 with three mags for $250 bucks. Friend is going to buy it and hang onto it until i can actually afford it. that is if the price sticks.

I installed a competition spring kit and an extended
slide lock in my G17. Now it does not function nor
can I remove the slide.

Couple of questions about the glock 17. Im already dead set on a glock 17, but i noticed the slide release is just a tiny button, how much better is the extended release, and how hard is it to install. And do the 3o round glock 17 mags feed as well as the regular mags?

And just to piss me off no one one hase one used locally for 350-365 bucks Damn it!

I think i am going to get a Glock 17. I have a keltec sub 2000 that uses glock magazines and i have about 10. I have 4 that holds 31. That would be enough firepower for a 9mm. LOL

Keep working it. If it refuses take a rubber mallet and hammer down on the back of the slide while holding down the spring load.

Won't I ruin something?
Also when I lock the slide back I can see the portion
of the trigger bar that activates the slide release.

As long as the trigger activates there should be no damage...

You are following the typical procedure for slide removal.

I can pull down the side lock
and the slide will go foward 3/8---1/2 "
then snaps back.
I wonder if the recoil spring moved off the barrel shell?

Success ,the new connector was bent just short
of 90 deg.

They are ... but sometimes the purchaser can mess things up.

Abosisterely correct, I had read some where to slightly bend the
connector towards 90 deg. I guess I went a wee bit too far.
