A buddy of mine inquired to me about a gun safe. He ended up getting a Winchester at Sams Club and hauled it home Friday. Tonight he calls up and can't get it open ... freakin' out... His religious girlfriend had tried too.. He told me she got so upset she cussed at it two times... They both had tried for 2 days to open it. All his guns were inside of it and he was a loss how to do it. I ask him a mechanical or electronic lock.. Mechanical.. all he needed to do was to spin the dial multiple times before going to the first number. He called back in 5 min and said it opened right up. Said both of them needed a beer to calm down..[:D][:0]

Combination locks are always a PITA until you get the feel of them. Glad he figured it out!

I locked all the information(Combination)inside my safe when a buddy and I were moving it the day I recieved it.doh.gif It took a Notary Public, a statement of payment from my bank, and about a week before they would fax me the combination.

The first safe I bought had key locks. I got it home and unpacked it and could not find the keys. They must be inside, but the door is locked. OK.

So, I call the manufacturer, give them the number off the locks, and they sent me a set of keys.

When the new keys arrived I went to unlock the door. Only when I used the keys, I realized I was locking the door, not unlocking it. The door was only stuck from the paint, and the keys were inside.

Don't you just hate that when it happens.
