On any subject, there are opposing views. If we imagine the subject to be a number line, we find the extremists on either end of it. Now, I have always imagined the number line was not linear, but circular, so that the extremists on either end actually meet. So it is with politics; so it is with religion.

I go along with Classic on this one. Until someone directly and specifically affects me I say leave them alone. I think we are big enough and strong enough as a nation to tolerate activities done in private even if we disagree with them. I don't condemn the private lives of others and I don't want others condemning mine.

Besides, I think we have far worse enemies to deal with, like terrorists, back-stabbing countries using the U.N. as a platform to hurt us, and gun-grabbing politicians like Schumer, Boxer, Feinstein, et al. I don't need any new people to worry about. I have plenty, already.

When did our country start to go South? Look at other events that coincide with this downward spiral we are caught in. Why is it that for 150 years we were as strong a nation as ever there would be? Now we are a mere shell of our former selves. Why? How? The answers are in the quotes our poster put before us. Do I think we should go out and murder all the 'non-believers', no! I don't even go to church, but I know wrong when I see it and Muslims, Homosexuals, and democratic liberals are just plain wrong. Yes, I group them all together and for good reason. It's the "tolerance" policy that has turned us inside out from a time when men were men and women watched them make it happen.

Why were Sodom and Gomorrah destroyed? Even if you happen to be an Atheist, that doesn't mean you have to tolerate just plain wrong. There's tolerance and then there is just bad decision making. My nephew asked me once, while he was watching TV, "comengetit, what does gay mean?" I asked him why did he ask? As I coughed on my soda. He said because he's watching the gay parade. Now if you don't see WRONG all over this situation, you may want to have yourself tested to make sure you are still a Human Being.
What was I supposed to tell a six year old boy about Homosexuality when he hasn't been told the story of the 'birds and the bees' yet? I....Was.....Pissed! I called the network and presented their station director with the same question, she told me she was very sorry and that she had been receiving calls all day. She said they had made a bad decision and to please forgive them. Obviously, I'm not going to scream and yell at someone who has just admitted to being wrong and apologized for it. I was furious none the less.
I, on the other hand, chose to lie to my nephew and told him it was just a bunch of 'happy' people having fun and giving a parade. Some smart * will say I didn't lie, I lied. Why was I put in that position? I guess I'm just tired of being force fed this tolerance crap and things like affirmative action among others. It's really destroying our foundation, the base on which this country became great. Enter a few mindwarpers and give them 50 years to spread like cancer and this is what you have.
Have you watched TV lately? My God, I thought I was watching a porno flick. These are the same people producing these programs that are the ones that want your guns. They have become very skilled at twisting the truth BEFORE it's an issue with those who would be opposed. Where do you think kids get all of these violent and twisted tendancies? TV, that's where and the movies too. Then those that put the shows on blame you and I because we own guns. WOW, what kind of World is this.
TOLERANCE: Gave it a shot, don't care for it. Won't be employing it in my daily life. Too many things are being accepted that just should not be, it's driving our sense of morals down to the pit. We've been on a collision course with Sodom and Gommorah since John F Kennedy was president and we still see it in his relatives that are still alive. I wouldn't be a bit surprised to find out the THEY had JFK Jr. killed because he was just a little too wild for their liking, yet they want you to tolerate. UHuh, no thanks.
It's got nothing to do with hate. It's RIGHT and WRONG. Who am I to decide right and wrong? Nobody. But we all must make our own analysis of things and determine what is indeed right and what is wrong. Tolerance has no place in this process.

How does two gay guys being gay affect YOUR life in any way, shape, or form? This is the hyprocrisy I see everyday in the gun community, the thinly-veiled hatred of anything that isn't a white male Christian Conservative. It's this kind of crap that perpetuates the stereotypes of gunowners as being intolerant, inbred rednecks. The same people who hold up the Bill of Rights and demand freedom and liberty to own and carry firearms, and then want to turn around and turn this country into a Christian theocracy. Just because the Bible says something is wrong, doesn't mean we need to write it into American law.
If a guy wants to be with another guy, it doesn't affect my life one bit. In fact, that just means there are two less guys I have to compete with when it comes to getting women. As a libertarian, I do not care what two consenting adults do behind close doors.
Remember, it is up to GOD to judge people. Let he who is without sin cast the first stone. Judge not lest ye be judged. But most Gunbroker Christians seem to forget THOSE parts of the Bible, they just pick and choose which parts of the Bible they want to impose on everyone else, just the like the Islamofacists.
