I wrote a few days back about having discovered the very BEST gunsmith I've ever given work to. Several inquiries to me about his costs came up and now I have answers. His charges are:
Standard blueing or Parkerizing $80.00
Gray military Parkerize $80.00
High Gloss blueing $90.00
Single barrel only blueing $40.00
Double barrel only blueing $55.00
Drilling and tapping (per hole) $10.00
Cut and crown barrels $20.00
Return shipping per gun $10.00
Mel does bolt forging, muzzle brakes, octagon barrels, relining barrels, jeweling, etc. Call him for details and be as pleased as I am! I just sent him more work!
