It does ring a bell now that you mention it, my son went to one of their shows last year. I have been listening to "Monster" on the local Waco rock station and hadn't put 2 and 2 together.

Evidently they are getting pretty popular...even in the mainstream secular culture.

    You like Heavy Metal music?

Pretty cool... When I was your age I never knew ANY girls who liked heavy metal. They liked rock, country, or "fluff" music.

Though the heavy metal noise I like, was far from Christian. [:)]

Meaning no offense Erika, but I am surprised your dad lets you listen to GnR and Judas.

Bon Jovi was fluff, to me anyway.
I Listen to twited sister, GnR, Ozzy, Metalica, Iron Maiden, Smashing Pumpkins, Korn, Manson, Alice Cooper, ect.
I like the guitar heavy, and loud.

IMO, Metallica was one of the greatest bands that ever existed. I'm a classic rock guy these days...always have been, but loved my Metal too.

Cassidy just started getting into that 80's crap...I cannot stand most of the 80's music, with the exception of Heavy Metal.

Freemind...what do you think of Skillet? I recently went to their website and it looks like they have some songs that might be borderline heavy metal.

    I youtubed a few songs

Comatose was a hard rock song IMO. I had the distict feeling (and I could be wrong) the song was about a woman. [;)]
    Ditto for The Last night.
    Hero was more metal IMO.
    Invicable was manson-esk.
Live Free or Let ME die, was metal lite.

Good band, IMO. Though personally I wouldn't classify it Christian music. The songs can be interprited other than Christian. Wasn't direct praise.

    My two cents Eric.

I agree...it isn't praise and worship but they do classify themselves as a Christian Rock band. I cannot make heads or tails of them.
