A former soldier in my Vietnam Veterans support group asked if I could research and seek to locate the unit operational reports for his unit, which was 1st Squadron, 9th Cav of the 1st Air Cav, for the year of 1968. I checked Google for US Army, which leads to directions to check the National Archives and when I check that it gives a list of people to hire to look-up what is wanted. This fellow is on 100% disability and not in a position financially to pay a researcher, nor physically to look it up himself.
