What word should be used?

I've been in a bit of a discussion on another forum and could use some help here.
I know that it is normal for people to use the term "Happy Memorial Day" but I really don't feel this to be apropriate wording for the type of holiday it is.
What could be put into place besides the word "happy" that would be more suitable for the day?
Or am I just being to picky?

Respect Memorial Day
Remember Memorial Day
..." ALWAYS & FOREVER" !!!!
...God has given comfort and rest to their immortal souls.
...God has blessed their sacrifice.
Honor.
That's the one.
