Bought this yesterday in a local pawn shop. Looks to be unfired and is in perfect condition. Couldn't pass it up for $275.

I couldn't fix it. No gunsmith I ever met could fix it. One day it pissed me off so bad I gave it to my brother-in-law.
I've never had a problem with a Marlin.
Marlin is my favorite lever action rifle.
