FARGO, N.D. - One of the two Red Lake students still hospitalized in Fargo is providing more revelations about what happened during last week's school shootings.

Fifteen-year-old Jeffrey May is partly paralyzed but has been able to write notes to his family.

Shane May says after his brother was wounded, he remembers hearing shooter Jeff Weise asking questions as he walked through the classroom, firing at students.

Shane May says his brother said that Weise would ask students if they believed in God. If they said yes, they got shot -- if no, Weise walked away.

Jeffrey May was shot at close range and the bullet lodged in his neck. He suffered a stroke and was paralyzed on the left side.

Before he was shot, May wrestled with the gunman and tried to stab him with a pencil. During that time, several girls managed to escape the gunfire.

May remains in serious condition at MeritCare hospital in Fargo. Another student, Steven Cobenais, remains in critical condition.
