I wonder what they would say.

I first started cleaning these 2 off about 10 years ago, they are never tended, no flowers or flags other than the ones we place...

    I like cemeteries. I don't know why. Maybe it's the Polish in me, we seem to have a seemingly unhealthy preoccupation with death. I just find them very peaceful places, and when you think your life really sucks, they just remind you of how much worse it could be. Anyhow, while walking about a cemetary the other day, I came across a an untended marker dated 1927, "Gone, but not forgotten."

    I had to smile at the irony...

    Good on you and your efforts. I am sure they are appreciated.

    You should do some research and find out more about them.

    You should be able to find quite a bit out with the names and DOB & DOD.

    thank you for what you have and are doing for them.
    as posted about i too think maybe a wartime romance, something like he was wounded and she cared for him you know the classic girly novel thing. please let us know if you do find out any more about these two individuals, and keep up the good work.
