Poor truck, hit a million miles and she is having a fit. All 4 shocks on the drive axles were bad. When I say bad I mean really bad, broken bad.
Ordered 4 new shocks, backed the truck into my shop and cut all 4 of them off, went to the parts store the next morning and picked up 4 shiny new Monroe Gasmatics.
They were the wrong ones [:(]
So I have to get this load of lumber picked up, shocks were blown so drivin should be ok ya would think. Wrong, even blown they still worked a little, I found this out bouncing all the way up here.
Get loaded, back to the house where 4 CORRECT shocks should be waiting for me.
Bouncy bouncy!!

When I rebuilt my 1965 Chevy C-10 a few years ago, I knew all four were bad. So, I had my receipt from when I'd bought them in 1987!
Took them to the local parts store, and they were confused as to how to do a lifetime warranty on a 30 year old receipt!
Manager just gave me four of them, and said "we'll figure it out, here you go!"
Gotta love Monroe shocks! (and keeping your receipts!)
