Is they're anything that helps to thicken it up again?

Too many years in the Desert Sun has taken it's toll.

If there is, I haven't found it yet and my Dermatologist doesn't know about it; I've tried most of the suggested stuff! If I just barely bump my lower arms, it results in a bruise!

If you can't feel the music; it's only pink noise!

I have taken to wearing gloves for almost everything. Seems if I barely brush the back of my hand against something, it causes bleeding.

Yep - I now have my fathers hands.
That's a good and bad thing.

    Mechanix and rubber gloves help.

Every tiny little pointy thing. I discover I am bleeding and have no idea why. I know a guy that files round everything he owns.

One thing I did do, with the approval of my Dermatologist, is I used Carac Cream on my face and lower arms for the Solar or Actinic Keratosis. I did my face first and then my lower arms. It removed the pre skin cancer spots that I had and restored the skin on my face and lower arms and the skin in the treated areas is very healthy and healthy looking; but my lower arms are very susceptible to bruising. However, it is a prescription medication, very expensive, and pure torture to use and you'll look like death warmed over for about three weeks!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm glad I did it, but I wouldn't do it again!!!!!!!!!!!!

"I have taken to wearing gloves for almost everything."

Me, too. I used to wear leather gloves all the time but Arthur is persistent and my knuckles don't enjoy the pressure from leather gloves. Now, I use the nylon back/leather palm gloves ($4 on sale at Menards). Go through a pair a month but they save me all sorts of nicks, scrapes, and tears when doing chores, tying up a little fence, or daily mechanic work. This type of glove won't replace good leather fencing gloves but sure help during daily farm work.
When your job involves meeting people and shaking hands, gouged scabby hands are a bummer.

That stuffs the cat's meow for dry, chapped hands. I also use it for the callus that develops on my left heel.

I have learned in my dotage to wear gloves on most projects. Every time I barely bump my arms I get a bruise. In fact I tore a large chunk out of my left arm today mowing around some trees. It'll look real pretty tomorrow.

Hell, I wake up in my waterbed with bruises!
I blame it mostly on the blood thinners from '14-'15; they never seem to leave your system.
I tried that fake skin spray before weeding the garden, didn't help at all.
The only "good" thing is that NOW, ya don't feel it until you look down and see a trickle.

Collagen will help some. Maybe Stem cell therapy too can help.

I take vitamin E and fish oil daily and have a significant improvement in my skin flexibility. It doesn't hurt else where either.

You know, that may be something to think about.

I fried my hand and wrist years ago while opening a radiator cap. 1st 2nd and 3rd burns on my wrist and forearm. A friend suggested that I open up and pour vitamin E on it. To this day, you can barely see any scaring from it. And it killed the pain.

    Ice, E, and Aloe.

My mother in law swears mustad helps... The tumeric in it may, but the vinegar surely would not.
