My right ear sounds like some tiny little guys are in there crumpling up paper bags and popping bubble wrap. Been doing it for a couple weeks and is begining to aggravate me. Ever had anything like this?

May have wax on the ear drum.

Something like that happened to me after a really long hot bath several years ago. The heat softened some of the wax up, and it repositioned it's self on my ear drum.

Lay on your side and have someone put two drops of peroxide in your ear. It feels sooooooo good.

the hippie shops have these beeswaxed paper cones that go in your ear and burn like incense. they pull the wax out of your ear like none other. i use them during pollen season. really cool stuff. freaky at first but really work well. finish it off with some peroxide on a q tip and try not to blow your drum.

if in doubt, have a doctor get it out!

EX had a spider build a web in her ear. She said it sounded like a horse when it moved.

ear wax candles, do a search on them , they work quite well , but you do have to have some one use them on you

How about you go to a doctor and have them cleaned? You will be amazed at how much comes out of there. They fill your ear with something and let it work. Then he uses something to squirt what looks like soapy water in there. Takes a while but worth it.

It is probably fluid in the inner ear coming in from your eustachian tube when you blow your nose. They can pierce the eardrum and vacuume it out and put in a tube to allow it to drain. Tube falls out on it's own and eardrum heals itself. Alternative is anti-histamines and antibiotics taking a long time to get rid of the fluid. Steroids can also get the swelling down from the tube to allow it to drain out better. I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express.

Doctor used a water pic to clean my ears.
    Worked really well.
My Mom always used ear candles.
She said they work but I never tried it.

Another very small possibility is if you had your hair cut recently.

I had a 1" or smaller piece of hair migrate down my ear canal after a haircut and it drove me crazy for a month.

Ended up at an ENT, and he found it on the first visit.
Made me a bit dizzy, and when I laid on that ear at night while sleeping, I could hear scraping sounds every time I moved.

Ear wax is most likely, and that is what the ENT was looking for.
I have virtually no ear-wax though, and he said that within minutes of looking into my ear with that wonderful spreader.
