So who was the guy you took along with you? [:D]

Robbers Deserve A Lump Of Coal For Stealing Money, Sex Toys From Store

    FORT WORTH STAR-TELEGRAM
Two men held up a Fort Worth retailer early Sunday, taking cash and toys - but not the kind meant for children.

The robbery occurred shortly after 1 a.m. Sunday at the Romance Store, an adult entertainment shop at 780 N. Beach St.

An employee told police that the two robbers, one packing a pistol, ordered him to stay calm and do as he was told.

First, they grabbed cash from the register. Then, they made him point out the more expensive items in the store.

The robbers fled with an undisclosed amount of cash and about $200 worth of sex toys, police said.

How would ya like to take on a big Case? course it would have to be Pro Bono.[:D]

It would be a class action suit, representing the Tax Payers of the USA.

This action would be against REP. JAKLOW convicted of Manslaughter in the killing of a motorcyclist. He was sentenced to 100 days in jail.

Now the suit would be to stop the Payment of any liablility or wrongful death suits that the government said "He was on duty" so there for the Taxpayers would pay for any liability he may face..

    This is just wrong.

Another action we need is to enlist all Reps and government employees including the president in the Social Security program and do away with their plush retirement packages.. put them on our level and see just how fast they straighten out the Social Security Problem..

Might be fun just to see how far we could get...[:0]

A little while back you asked about the 1861 Colt rifled muskets on the Colt pic thread. I finally got around to putting better pics in Photobucket, so here they are in more detail. These are both "second generation" guns that they made in the 80's or 90's. I got one new from Colt, and one from here on GB.

If you are into the antiques, check out some of the others on the main page. Still working on adding the rest in.

I am on a very slow dialup connection. I can tell a lot of this old crap you're dragging up either by identifying an old poster, or simply by the post count. But I have opened up several of these classics by mistake. Please give us a break and go do some lawyering or something. Are you having fun, or are you mad at somebody? Whatever, I think you have about made your point.

    The thrill is gone.

I though you might not see this in the other thread, so I'm putting it in a new thread:

Matt, what I call computer savvy is people is people who know what they are doing and why, like iwannausername and probably kyplumber. I'm in the monkey see, monkey do category. Computers can get complicated when you don't know what you're doing, and if you're like me and just keep trying stuff until something works, you'll break something from time to time.

The old signature line trick is easy. If you click on my version of your signature picture below it will link to the scales of justice. If you want to put something like it in your signature line, all you have to do is substitute the links to the pictures you want to use for the blue and red links in this example.

Just a quick legal fee question...

Is there a typical percentage that a trial attorney
normally charges when taking a case "contingent"?

    Thanks...
