Yup. Got skunked.
Ah, well. I took my Model 70 for long, romantic walks in the woods. Funny thing, when I looked at the tags I got, I realized that I had either sex. So if I had seen an elk, I could've bagged it. Now, If I'd had a moose tag, I'd have had nine opportunities to bag one. Oops, make that six. Three were calves.
Saw plenty Mulies, too.
But no elk.
Mebbe next year.
