We had steak, black-eyed peas, rutabegas and cornbread. Yum-Yum![:D]

Taco soup recipe:

1.5 lbs. ground round, chuck or sirloin
1 choppped onion
1-15 oz. can Ranch beans
1 can Rotel
1 small can green chilies (chopped)
1-15 oz. can red Kidney beans
1 can Mexican corn
1 package Taco seasoning mix
1 package Hidden Valley Ranch mix (dry)
3-4 cans of water

Brown beef with onions----drain

Add other ingredients (hold out on mixing Taco seasoning and Hidden Valley Ranch mix until about 30 min.-1 hour before serving)

Bring to a boil---reduce heat---let simmer

Makes quite a bit so use a large pot to cook.

Cornbread----you're on your own
