If a company had at least 2 workers sent to the hospital over the last year should the RCR be at 0.0 according to the paperwork OSHA makes us post on the wall?

    Was there any lost time due to injury?

    Yes 100% to one. The other im not sure but guy was shocked and burned, went to the hospital and was on light duty with hand wrapped up and a scar running from his wrist to his index finger.

    No...if there was any lost time from work...recordable case rate....if the emp returned to work during shift then 0.0 is ok

    Also depends on what kind of medicine was given. Anything other than over the counter medicine will make it a recordable. David

    You can have a recordable and not a lost time case. You can't have a lost time case without a recordable.

    I would say that someone going to the hospital, getting burned and bandaged would be a recordable.
