Yellow crookneck squash. I peel them, slice fairly thin, dip them in flour, buttermilk/egg wash, and flour again. Deep fry until golden brown. Salt, pepper, and eat! Yummy.

Just not picked soon enough. The older they get the more bumpy. Pick sooner or the plant will stop producing.

What U have there is a GEM! Rub it with oil salt and pepper,wrap it in foil and bake it for 30 min.at 350*. U can do the same with the butternuts that will be around more in the fall..[:p]
