Yard service cost?

Anyone run a yard service business? Rough estimate..How much would it cost to mow a 1/2 acre yard for the mowing season march thru oct. Wanting to get my Mom a Christmas present.

Depends on the amount of rainfall and how much fertilizer you use. But I would guess you could get it mowed for $800 a year.

Yep, Here in the NorthWest, my area, you have two choices: Asian Services want to make your yard a "Show Piece", and are pretty darn Expensive...The Mexican/Spanish services will do the job for considerably less, but will not do anything except Mow, Edge, Blow.

If You Speak Spanish, you can get a little better job, but it doesn't split the difference between the generic jobs and the "Prize Winning" Asian services.
