Is amsoil really the best? [certianly their website says so]


How does it compare to Cerma oil, mobil-1, royal purple?

Is it all hype or is it actually as good as they claim?










Oh; BTW does anyone here know the air velocity speed of an unladen swallow?[8D]

    Yes, its among the very best. Motul, and amsoil, are the tops, with a debatable inclusion of Mobile 1 into this category.

    All other brands that claim to be fully synthetic are lying. they are really just a blend with dino oil. The exception, if you can find it, is German Castrol (due to German labeling laws, if it says 100% synthetic, it better be!)

    Yes, Amsoil is one of the brands at the top. Most truckers that I know use Amsoil products.

    We've been running Spectro Platinum Motor-Guard full synthetic or Lucas synthetic oils in our race cars for years with no oil related failures.
