Flat tire on the truck..PIC something different

I live on a gravel road that gets quite a bit of traffic. Guys run up and down it pretty fast with trailers full of unsecured junk, Amish buggies loose nails from the horses etc....this time I ended up with this in my tire...?



It appears to be a turkey or maybe a buzzard quill.....made it two full inches inside the tire...

Sometimes it doesn't take much. I had a piece of dead sagebrush branch, less than a quarter inch in diameter take out a sidewall on my truck tire awhile back.

dirt township roads should be labeled public dumping...there CANNOT be that much stuff falling off of flatbed trucks....take a magnet bar behind a 4 wheeler and get in the salvage business

Years ago when I worked in a tire store, a car came in to have tire repaired. Had a 6 inch cresent wrench in it. Lots of unusual things end up in tries.

Never saw a quill in a tire before, but I have seen snake fangs in them.
