Worst prices you've ever seen

Went into a gun shop in Burlington, VT Saturday and saw .32 auto ammunition for $45 per 50 rounds. They wern't special either, just American Eagle FMJ. I did end up walking out with a perfect condition M48 Mauser for $165 though, probably the same price if I bought one online after factoring in the FFL transfer.

Stopped by Academy to see what came in on their Monday shipment last week, 45LC was all they had. Need some 357 and 38, but will wait before paying these wacked out prices. Have a case of 9mm but no gun, guess I'll have to go buy one.

Worst I've ever seen are right here over on the auction side. Can't understand why anyone would try to sell or bid at those prices! Probably get me banned again, but oh well.

We are selling 380 for $24.95 for a box of 50....only have 3 boxes left in stock though. Too much hassle to sell small quantities on line.

How about a "wholesale" price of $65 for a box of 380 ammo? Shop has it on the shelf at the same price, but you can only buy if if you buy one of the 380s they have for sale (which is the only reason they paid the $65...)

Well other than the primer madness on the auction side?

How about a box of 'rare' yugo 8mm mauser ammo, 1951 dated, being sold for $50, for 15 rounds in an antique store?

I saw someone try and do that too, and they also had incendiary rounds in 7.62x54r for $10 because it was "pre-ban". Here in NY, incindiary rounds are illegal regardless.

At the latest local show a seller was selling (and people were buying) .50 BMG factory reload ball in once-fired brass for $ 6.00 per round. 20 miles down the road, Cabelas was selling new American Eagle for $ 4.25/round.
