U build those here in the good ol USofA?

Hay Grump, what are the big ones that have the revolving round hole, that's fed from the top.I saw one down in West Palm today and dude was dropping ENTIRE Australian Pine stumps in that bad boy.
Looked like it had a HUGE V-8 diesel, she was grunting in them BUICK sized stumps too man..

That was a new model just before I waqs laid off, Build just for the Japanese Market. Standing right next to it there is almost no noise, you can hold an normal conversation without yelling.

Think the last one I worked on was #8 ot 9. I had all sorts of changes we did with the engineers to make them easier to work on. Got a few calls to check on stuff after I left. Answered hoping to be brought back on.

That is also the smallest we made.

As far as "revolving round hole" that was whats called a tub grinder. Not near as efficient as the ones we built also when grinding building waste such as building torn down from Katrena those things threw a massive toxic cloud. Ours are build to keep down dust.

The big one we made will grind up engine blocks, the only thing that will stop them Rugs. We made some to try in Dumps, if the waste is ground up it takes less time for the waste to decompose. But from what I'm told(I wasn't there) cleaning out a clog from a rug gets real nasty.

Kind of hope that company gets going again. Its just barely staying afloat.

An Yes made in the USA, but saw where china is making a item like them. No way will they hold up with the light steel they are using.

This was our Med Sized Machine, built because the Lareger Machiunes cannot be hauled to all of the states because of their size.

Still eats a lot of stuff and never slows down.

I lived next to Armstrong MFG and not too far away from Mobark, growing up.

    Both were tree chipper companies.
