I have been working on this room since February. It is finally finished. Cousin fromaed it up. I did the electrical. Rear Adminal Plaid (Mrs. Plaid) and I hung the drywall. Fathern-in-law did the mudding and most of the painting. Mrs. Plaid and myself laid the laminate flooring and stained the trim. I nailed it up. The leather couches are awesome. 56'X14.5' One long room!

I give it a year or two and she will not be happy until the bathroom is finished.

Judging by the depthe of the window surround I will guess this is a basement you fured the concrete walls?

R11 around the walls and in the ceiling under my bedroom. No ventilation has been added yet. I figure I can add it later. There is two main ducts running the legnth next to the inside wall. I'll have to run some phone outlets in the inside wall also.

Where did you hide the bullet trap? Would make a nice 50' indoor range

    That is some nice work!
That is some serious square footage in that room.
Bring in the Nachos and beer, and turn on the Super Bowl!

Exactly my thoughts when I saw how long a room it is [:D]
If you really desire something, you'll find a way ?
? otherwise, you'll find an excuse.

50ft indoor range? I never thought of that one. Man it would have been interesting. Like the excercise equipment is ever going to be used.

Instead of the typical big screan, I'm thinking someday of a video projection unit on the south wall. The living roomis something like 24X26 will a cathedral ceiling. I thought it would be great up there on the big wall, but the room plays heck with a sound system. Placing a 5X7 video on the wall would be cool.

THe only thing I hate is the price of new bulbs. Seems like they last 2000 hours at best and cost a couple hundred dollars.
