UPS scwewd me!

I shipped a Harley windshield glass today using UPS. I used a HD box that had contained a complete windshield. A sticker on the box stated the shipping weight was 9 pounds. I shipped the glass only, so it should have been lighter, or at least the same weight.
I checked my email when I got home. I'd had UPS send a email to the guy I shipped it to, and a copy to me. In the email, the billed weight was 30 pounds!!
I'll be back at the UPS place in the morning. They owe me a partial refund!

OH no.. this one wasn't 'cute' at all..unless you consider a 'baby hippo' to be cute.
Baby hippos are very cute. [:D]
Sorry to hear you got scroged by UPS. I think they owe you and explanation at the very least.
I WOULD RATHER BE DUCK HUNTING.

My guess it it had to go by "dimentional weight" which means it is based on the size of the box.
This is correct.
