RAMALLAH, West Bank - A top Hamas official said Tuesday the Islamic militant group will not be "blackmailed" by international threats to cut off aid to the Palestinians and is searching for new sources of funding.

Osama Hamdan, a member of the group's exiled leadership, spoke a day after international donors that support the Palestinian government said millions of dollars of aid could be in jeopardy if Hamas does not change its violent ways.

Hamas, which has killed hundreds of Israelis in suicide attacks, is poised to lead the next Palestinian government after winning legislative elections.

    Unfortunately the one thing the muslims have plenty of is money. Iran could add one dollar per barrel to the price of oil and generate enough money to fund hamas for the rest of the century.

    I hope one of the "moderate" muslim countries like Egypt steps in and takes care of the "palastinian problem" before the "real" wackos decide to get involved.

    I don't know how things are in YOUR part of the country BUT folks who live in cardboard boxes here, do so by choice! We've got shelters up the kazoo and they aren't used. If we'd institutionalize the crazies out there we wouldn't have this 'problem!'[:D]

    The USA should cut off all funding to the Palestinian gov't IMMEDIATELY. Our dollars cannot (by law) go to fund Hamas, which is a terrorist organization similar to Al Queda.

    I say let the other rich Arab countries that constantly protest the abuse of their "Palestinian brothers" support them.

    Saudi Arabia is awash in petrodollars, let them step up to the plate and put their money where their mouth is. Ditto for Iran.

So why should the United States of American not cut off all funding to Israel as well? What has any Israeli politician done for America's or the world's benefit? Attack the USS Liberty? Watch the terrorists en route to bomb the Marine Barracks in Beirut and not advise America? Use an American/Israeli traitor to spy within the NSA? Try to use diplomatic negotiations on peace as a way to get the US to free Pollard? Use AIPAC as a channel to forward Top Secret documents stolen from the Pentagon to the Israeli Embassy? Set up cameras BEFORE the Twin Towers were struck on 9/11--odd coincident, eh? Leave the Hilton Hotel in Amman hours before the terrorists set off their bombs without notifying the authorities of the attack?

    But you are right, Hamas has been declared a terrorist organization. Freely elected by a democratic process, tho.

    BTW, Israel is NO LONGER the ONLY DEMOCRACY IN THE MIDDLE EAST.

    Hopefully the worthless 'Palestinians' (in quotes because multinational Arabs expelled to the Palestine area don't constitute indigenous people) start fighting amongst themselves and show the world what a bunch of mindless savages they are. Maybe a good civil war there will do some good for the world.

In fact, if suicide bombing can be considered legitimate warfare, as at least one of our GB members ALWAYS claims (rhyme with terry) maybe we should use our money and techonology and become better at delivering suicide bombs than those crazy Muslims.
