Biggest Canebrake I ever saw was 5 1/2 feet long, and was a gravid female. She weighed about 15 pounds.
Holy hell. I think I would have shat myself seeing that anywhere near me. I hate snakes, but that one is a beauty. I think if it were near me I would have unloaded my Glock 22 (all 16 rds) on it just out of sheer feer. Hell of a snake......Papa needs a new pair of boots!!
