Airline Approved Gun Cases

I'm trying to get across the country with an AR and a scoped bolt action rifle.
Seems like all the respectable case manufacturers have figured out how to create an "AR case" that is just shy of long enough to slip in a normal sized rifle and a "double scoped rifle" case that is just narrow enough to keep you from putting an AR in as one of the rifles.
Anyone able to help with finding a airline approved case that will fit both needs?
I can go with two cases, but that seems overly expensive.

or the 1750 Pelican case. I am not sure if this case is below the OS limit. You will have to check with the airline you are going to take.

Buy yourself a big Pelican case. I'm sure they make one big enough for your purposes.
Pelican makes the best. Storm is also pretty good.
