Are Walgreens reading glasses glass or plastic?

They're probably all made in China, but right now I need to know what they are made of.

I make myself giggle sometimes. [:D]
I know I'm the only one. But that's ok.

If you are in a bar bet and need to know for sure, plastic melts. Glass, not as easily.

Put out a cigarette on the lens. You'll know in a second.

I have bought quite a few pairs of reading glasses. I have never found a pair with glass lenses. I would be willing to bet that there is no such thing, at Walgreen's or elsewhere.

I had to ask my wife but the ones I'm wearing right now are glass. Besides I wouldn't buy any reading glasses from Walgreens.

Use a diamond, if it's glass it will scratch the lens

As a side note it will scratch plastic also

Thanks all. I'm about 99% sure they're plastic which is about as sure as I ever am about anything.

I have some stuff my sister-in-law gave me for cleaning glasses. She said it's the best you can get for cleaning glass, but it will destroy plastic. Now that I think about it, there was no need to ask the question. She gave it to me in a plastic bottle.

It did a good job cleaning the glasses or plastics.

The reason I bought them at Walgreens is a pack of five was twelve dollars. Doctor Crow wants three hundred and change on for one pair.

Don't buy the ones made in China, James! I bought a pair and I could only read Chinese with them!

Not all plastics are created equal.

The bottle could be PVC or HDPE, which offer resistance to hydrocarbons and aromatic solvents. Most plastic lenses are made from polycarbonate, which is completely different.
