    In all actuallity, it's not a matter of what substance or activity produces the the addictive condition, resonses and changes to brain chemistry and pysiology. In other words, what is more relevent is what ones addiction or abuse does to to his or her brain, and what changes and reactions then take place.

    So in short, both/all are detremental.

    Hmm Jesus actually hanged around with the guys outdoors drinking wine, socialising with hookers (on a friendly basis) and obviously got so drunk so they spent the night outdoors coz of all that wine.

    Drink untill you drop is okay i say.

    Can't stand drunks, but I grew up around, "Hey man, like ya wanna do some of this doobie man?" So I don't mind stoners so much. Moderation, that is the ticket. Wish I had some. Moderation that is.

    Even to much water might be dangerous
    So eat some ,but not to much !
    Drink some but not to much.
    Work some but not to much.
    Buy some guns but not to much.
    Post some here but not to much.
    Moderation is one of the biggest wisdom there is in life.

    yes they did. until the whole "reefer madness" campaign came out. The effects of that propaganda campaign can still be seen today even among the educated.

    Of course, non-goverment sanctioned propaganda campaigns have managed to perpetuate racism also.
