Blizzard update morning after

First time ever in N.E. Oklahoma to issue a blizzard warning in November. I live about 6 miles north of Claremore and we are expecting 6 to 12 inches. North of here 20 inches is a possibility . It is 18 degrees and snowing harder than when I took these pics,.

    I sure hope it hits South Carolina like that.

    One thing I can say I miss about California is the snow in the Sierra's.

    6 to 12 inches of snow is just a dusting where i live.must be a bunch of whoosies in OK.of course i say this while looking at 56 degrees in nortwest CT when it should be about 20. Your snow will probably melt by tomorrow nite.

    WO I'm just busting chops.Weird weather this year,we should have snow by now, we have nothing.I bought a snow blower 3 weeks ago, put new super snow tires on my Jeep 2 weeks ago and nothing. Snow blower is all set all I have to do is plug it in push start and head right out of the garage. Nothing to use it on. Good part is heating the house is cheap so far this winter. Someone mentoined bugs, we still have gnats that should have been gone in october.

    I'm an hour south of KC, right in the middle of the heaviest stuff at the moment. We've had at least 8 inches so far, and it's still coming down hard. I've got a pretty good slope off the back side of my patio, which is two steps down from the back doors. There's a drift halfway down the slope that's higher than the top of the steps.

    +1 to that. I wish it was that white in Wisconsin. It's just freeking cold right now...probibly below 0 tonight, before the wind chill.
