Hmmm....... maybe it's time for a new truck.

This is the truck Dodge should have built.

Looks good. Too bad I could never bring myself to spend that much on a truck. I guess I'm just cheap.

@. Buy a 1 ton without the dualls, unless you have a 40' fifth wheel to pull.
    For what it's worth.

The reason why duallys are popular is if you're pulling a fifth wheel and have a blowout on the rear, you won't end up dead in the ditch!

Oh I think I can safely say I know what it's like to drive a dually.

    My current truck.

    My last truck.

I had to trade it off though. The 454 struggle with the really heavy stuff.

+1 I had a flat on my Chevy dually while pulling a friends cabin cruiser and never even had a clue. Until I just happen to push the flat tire with my foot.

You might be driving it OK but your parking needs a little practise.

    Nice Trucks!

Is that a Chiminea or a Spare Transmision in the back?[8D]

My Dad used to say, "You can tell how good someone drives by the way they park their car."

That's what I dislike about dually's and other large trucks/suv's. The people that own them can't park/drive them worth a damn!

If you don't know how to park/drive a vehicle, don't own it!

I have a 2006 Dodge Dually and it was worth every penny. I haul live stock all around the country...You can set the cruise and pretend your trailer is not there. With my old 2500 chevy, the trailer would sway at certain speeds on the interstate. Also, with a lot of weight in a goose neck trailer, the dual tires in the back spread the weight out more even giving you much longer tread life.

Thats the big rig conversion wheels/tire i mentioned in another post. If ya see lots of highway miles, that is the way to go, You will actually use the Semi type size tires on it. Lots of miles to gain on them tires.

Is that the conversion or that it the new 4500/5500 Dodge has out now?
I do love the looks of the wheels.

Here's a picture of it before the longbed conversion.

    megacab.jpg

Remember the Megacab's don't come in long bed version.

Here's another one long bed mega cab with small fenders.

    greymegacab.jpg

I love this one too, esp with all the body molding/badging removed.

    Those are some nice trucks.

I'd never seen a mega long bed conversion that kept the short fenders. That looks awesome!

2 door with duals is like a sports car of duallies. That extended cab makes it a PITA.

Is that your truck? wondering what the cost of the conversion was Innovative Customs in Utah does them for around $6500 on the single tire but the article did not state the price for duallys.

I'll take a dually over a single wheel anyday. I had a inside dual wheel blow out on the interstate with a load of firewood on the back. It swayed a little till I got it stopped, I can't help to think where I would be if it was a single-wheel truck!
