It used to be called "Soaking" but is now known as "Lewinski" or simply "The Monica".
A guy that I used to work with in the Fine Gun business was a huge cigar smoker and he swore that some brands were much better after a "Soaking".

Gentlemen would dip their cigars in Cognac, or some good whiskey. Never heard of doing the other thing.
