Infuriating, but interesting read from the "other" point of view.

all I can say is: if we were terrorists, the brady losers would all be dead already...their mere survival is testament to the stability and civility of the average gun owner

They are funded by folks who slobber over the thought of a disarmed population in this country. Does it surprise you that they would spread such propaganda.

They are the savages of the twenty first century.

Uh, far be it for me to mess with their "facts," but didn't Columbine happen when the "assault weapons" ban was still in place?

Clearly not and objective approach, but what can you expect. The definitions and uses have a lot of spin and most are not accurate.

You might note that ONE of the weapons used a Columbine was a SXS 12 g. However, facts never truble folks like this. C&P-

    Firearms
In the months prior to the attacks, Harris and Klebold acquired two 9 mm firearms and two 12-gauge shotguns. A rifle and the two shotguns were bought by a friend, Robyn Anderson, at the Tanner Gun Show in December, 1998.[18] Harris and Klebold later bought a handgun from another friend, Mark Manes, for $500. Manes was jailed after the massacre for selling a handgun to a minor,[19] as was Philip Duran, who had introduced the duo to Manes.[20]

With instructions from the Internet, they also built 99 improvised explosive devices of various designs and sizes. They also sawed the barrels and butts off their shotguns in order to make them easier to conceal.[4] The two perpetrators committed numerous felony violations of state and federal law, including the National Firearms Act and the Gun Control Act of 1968, even before the massacre began.

During the shootings, Harris carried a 12 gauge Savage-Springfield 67H pump-action shotgun (serial no. A232432) and a Hi-Point 995 Carbine 9 mm semi-automatic rifle with thirteen 10-round magazines, fired 96 times. Harris's other weapon, the shotgun, was fired a total of 25 times. Harris committed suicide by shooting himself in the head with his shotgun.

Klebold carried a 9 mm Intratec Tec-9 semi-automatic handgun manufactured by Navegar, Inc. with one 52-, one 32-, and one 28-round magazine. He also carried a 12 gauge Stevens 311D double barreled sawed-off shotgun (serial no. A077513). Klebold's primary weapon was the Tec-9 handgun, which was fired a total of 55 times. Klebold would later commit suicide via a shot to the left temple with the Tec-9.

Those gun-law proponents should be executed as traitors.

    about Columbine...

I find it hard to believe they had built 99 IED's and only had those junk guns.

If they want to see terrorists they should look in the mirror. WE (gun owners) are not trying to eliminate our civil rights.

I don't know for sure, but I do know that the "murder" ban was still in place.

    So what's your point?

This is an article calling for another weapons ban, since it worked so good the first time.

    N'est-ce pas?

If my memory is correct, Columbine was the "tipping point" that got the Assault Weapons ban through Congress.

How about some statistics on those commiting the crimes. How many were NOT U.S. citizens? How many are members of gangs? How many are involved in drug trafficing? How many of those involved in drug trafficing are working with cartels outside the U.S.? How many receive welfare, How many practice islam? How many have a history of drug abuse? Just maybe if our government was a little more selective of who they allowed to into the United States and stopped supporting crack heads and fatladys with welfare we may not have so much crime. Better yet why dont we just lock up all the crack heads, fatladys, illeagles, and gang members and then see how much our crime rate drops. What percentage of our prison population is made up of mexican gang members? The people who the government seeks to disarm are a very very small percentage of the problem while the ones who are the real problem are at most protected by the government and at the least ignored as being the true reason for gun crime. To top it all off these self proclaimed educated people seem to fail to mention WHY WE HAVE THE SECOND AMENDMENT IN THE FIRST PLACE. I will give you a hint it has NOTHING to do with hunting.

Some of those firearms where pretty sweet! I've been looking for a nice FAL. Which countries produce the best ones? I shot one at the range I think was Brazilian. It shot pretty good at 100yds.

Wow...it kinda seems like they just throw the word "assualt" in front of any gun they dont like?

I love the part about how "sporting rifiles" are designed to be fired from the shoulder while "pistol grips" allow a rifle to be fired from the hip.

I suppose thats why our military, which is very good at the mass killing of people, fire from the hip.[:p]

Sounds like somebody saw one to many rambo movies[:p]

I ran across a lady from Milwaukee tonight. She said she believes no one should own "assault weapons". I asked her what her definition of "Assault Weapon" was and all she could say was, "You know, assault weapons".

I asked her if she meant, "Like a military M-16?" She said yes. I told her that I deer hunted with mine (before the boating incident). She said, "I bet the deer don't like that." I told her none of them have ever complained to me about it.

I then told her to walk one block over from Main Street and go down 2 blocks. By the time she got to the second block she'd be wishing she had a gun or wishing I was with her. Her response was, "Come on you guys, let's get out of here." I wished her a pleasant evening and told them all to be careful.

I once fired my 12-gauge from the hip. It scared the bejesus out of me. I soon understood why you shot it from your shoulder.
