Gun owners in Cali like Zipp sit here on GB and post away all day long but they refuse to organise and repeal the insane gun laws in Cali.

Why do feel that they are so disabled.

Yet someone else running their mouth when they have NO CLUE WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT!

Gun owners in CA ARE ORGANIZED.......there just aren't too many of them. :(

What should they do? Just start shooting people to get results? If you are in the minority, you are pretty helpless.

There are those who cry "If you don't ship guns to California, you are playing into their hands and doing exactly what "they" want you to do!!!". I agree with that statement. However, maybe FFL's refusing to ship guns to California will incite gun owners to get off their azzes and do something about it. That's exactly what "they" DON'T want you to do nor believe you will because California is a dictatorship and the "sheeple" keep doing exactly what they are told without question. As Californians, YOU need to prove them wrong.

The American Revolution would never have happened if people were content and enjoyed personal freedoms such as we still have but are slowly losing. They were pissed off enough to stand up and DO something about their tyrannical government. Maybe enough Californians will have the balls to stand up against theirs. I truly hope so.

Contribute a few bucks to feinsteins campaign, for instance. CA is hopeless, it has crossed the rubicon years ago and there's no going back.

The way I see it we (as in Californians) has three of the worst gun hating biatches chest pounding away like gorillas. Then we have the lefty, righty teetering "Terminator" grunting away. Unless California gets a steady serving of back in the days of Miami, Florida in the '80's ("Cocaine's a powerful drug" Rick James once said). We'll be going in that sunset of disarmerment.

I think if we have enough Southern Migration which brings MS-13 and other gangs. There won't be a call for mass armerment of private citizen and by then it'll be too late. I am looking forward to California going back to the Wild, Wild West that was Oakland or East Palo Alto back in the '80's. It'll be a sad day and a great day when Boxer or Fienstiene telling the resident of California that "if you want to be safe go buy a gun 'cos no cops are coming".

Finally, one sensible californian. You will never hear that out of feinschwein or any other democrap from ca. most people there will rather die than defend themselves. most immigrants (and a significantly large number of CA residents able to cast a vote are immigrants) are anti-gun. most of transients who couldn't hack it in their own home moved to CA, and I don't mean homeless people, I mean liberally raised 20-year old schmucks who have a mentality of a retarded romanticizing about fairness in life teenagers and who vote in all that liberal crap that promises them happiness and equality for the sick and poor paid by the rich, and so on. nobody not even fights but expresses any interest, most people believe taxes is a good thing. the whole state is a disgrace, the US should remove CA from voting in elections and remove them from congress, keep it as a territory, but nothing more than that.

I agree and I think most people in here will support you. However, somebody in California needs to make some noise. Draw up a sensible petition to your Senators, Congressman, Governor and legislators. Contact your firearms associations and the NRA. Clog up their fax machines and e-mails with the petition and letters. You wil get attention. I know, believe me. I've done it in a different scenario and got called to the Pentagon scared sheetless. However, we stood our ground and, in the end, we prevailed.

Or split it up and reduce it's power. As I understand it the eastern 1/2 of the state is not as liberal as the rest. Take away even 1/3 of California's power in the Federal Government and it would make a big difference in the direction this country is going. It would be interesting to split the costal region off then split the eastern portion north and south. You'd probably end up with one ultra liberal state, one moderate and possibly one on the edge of conservative.

I've often wondered if their shouldn't be a ceiling for representation from any given state to prevent small pockets of high population from dictating, on a federal level, what is going on in areas without similar problems and interests

Useless. If the rest of the state cared enough, they would've changed something a while back and we wouldn't be having this conversation.

    Lets see Mercury

I moved from Cali last October. I'm a 3rd generation Californian. I've been more politically active then any non-office holder I know. I've been fighting gun control since the Stockton school shooting. (That's 1989 you tard!) Gun owners are not a small minority in Cali.

Taken as a whole they are a large minority. The problem is they refuse to organise. I've been/was a grass roots organiser for the NRA, CPRA and GOA member. I've been a member of JEOF since its founding. I think my background gives me a good understanding of the problem.

You know how many times I PM members here on GB who listed their residents in their profile as Cali to come to functions? Just ask that loudmouth Zipp!

The Americans left in Cali are truly in a hard spot, but they refuse to do anything about it. Could you please and I'm serious here, please list one thing you've done to help support gun rights/Second Amendment in the last year

I guess it's easy to be a keyboard commando and puff yourself up on GB. Get off the Internet and do something before its to late!

The people of Cali are Zombie like walking around in a dream like state thinking their Socialist government Nanny-State will take care of them! The rest of America needs to cut Cali off until they pull themselves up by the boot straps and get some real pro Americans in office.

Dean The ex-Cali native that know what the hell he's talking/writing about!

If you love America please DON'T SEND GUNS TO CALIFORNIA! There is a cultural war going on if you realize it or not. The battle front is in Cali but the war is for the soul of America.

PLEASE DON'T SEND GUNS TO CALIFORNIA!

Conservatives, gun owners, Republicans and those who believe in the Constitution as written are grossly OUTNUMBERED in California. The Leftists are a voting majority. That's the way it is.

CA gun owners are no more apathetic than are those in other states. They are at the mercy of the Leftists running the state.

Damn people, where do you get your numbers from? How do you figure that "Conservatives, gun owners, Republicans" are outnumbered? I can provide you with some real numbers, now can you back up your claims with anything factual?

An excellent point, Colt. Gay rights, gay marriages, legalized marijuana - I hope those people do not represent the majority of Californians. However, they got what they wanted, didn't they? It takes commitment, determination and tenacity.

Are you trying to "punish" the gun owners.

    Well, let's see YOUR numbers . . .

No. let's see yours first. but I doubt you will cause it's only your pathetic excuse used since I first lived in CA that poor conservatives, republicans, etc. in the states are always outnumbered. And from talking to some older generation people, it's been going on since before Reagan time. It's all you do -- complain, and don't do jack chit about the political situation. see the example about gays above.

Lets see Cali produced Pres. Nixon, Pres. Reagan, Governors Pete Wilson, Dukmagnion (Sorry for the spelling), US Senator S.I. Hiakawa. Your telling me that there are no Right-wing conservatives in Cali????

The gun owners in Cali refuse to get off of their butts.

As for the FFL holders in Cali or the ones outside of Cali who still sell to Cali well good luck you tards! Your killing the goose that laid the golden egg. You're just like the US car industry in the early 70's. You are willing to take some short term profits at the expense of your long term survival! Duh!!!

The people of Cali need to wake up! Oh I forgot I'm hurting your feeling because no one is allowed to speak/write the truth in politically correct California.

    quote:You are a self-rightous fool.
See Supra. I'm self-righteous because I'm fighting for America? Good logic there buddy! You can't even put forth a logical argument![;)]

As for the tard who wrote that it's going to happen across all of America well DUH!! Have you read anything I've written?? We need to stop it now!!!

Now for the guy who wrote that I can't tell people what to do with their gun. Bite me guy! Someone needs to stand up for what is right!! You guys can't organize poop and your going to take the whole country with you.

What have you done for the cause?
