Two more people who were born in the wrong time & place. You would have made great SS troopers. Aren't we supposed to be the good guys?

Charging soldiers in a war zone with murder is absurd, UNLESS there are EXTREMELY aggravating circumstances.

"Charging a man with murder in this place was like handing out speeding tickets in the Indy 500."

There is rule of law, even during war. The UCMJ doesn't cease to exist during wartime, and neither does the Geneva Convention which the United States signed in good faith. Rape is NOT a "part of war" that should be tolerated. Intentionally killing unarmed civilians and children to cover up crimes, or out of revenge, is NOT a part of war and should not be tolerated.

EXTREMELY aggravating circumstances are what the Army apparently found, that's why Army investigators are recommeding the DEATH PENALTY for four U.S. soldiers charged with murder:

    http://www.breitbart.com/news/2006/09/02/D8JST4QG0.html

"An Army investigator has recommended the death penalty for four soldiers accused of murder during a raid in Iraq.

Lt. Col. James P. Daniel Jr. made the recommendation in report obtained Saturday by The Associated Press.

Daniel found several aggravating factors that warrant a sentence of death in the case of four soldiers accused of killing three men during the May raid in the Salahuddin province."

Now let's see, who knows more about which sentence is appropriate for soldiers who commit crimes? Is it the United States Army itself, who spent months investigating incidents such as these, or a bunch of right-wing warhawks on a message board? So will all you people who verbally attacked John Murtha for bringing these and similar allegations to light finally apologize and admit you were wrong, or will you now make claims that the US Army is "anti-American" and "hates the troops" or "blames America first?"

John Murtha is a disgrace to the USA, he is a disgusting POS. He had no place to say the things he did about our troops BEFORE charges were brought or the investigation was complete. He impugned the honorable conduct of troops in general for the sins of very few.

So to answer your question; hell no I won't apologize to that pig.
