Big Day of RACING!!

Woke up, watched some F1, went to a friends house to watch the 500. Now I'm looking at NASCAR.

They all had their share of beer commercials. Insurance commercials. Truck commercials.

But only NASCAR had a viagra commercial followed by a hair dye for your grey beard.

They research the crap out it this.
Is the NASCAR demographic a bunch of limp grey old men?!?!

I'll just wait over here and see how the pot simmers. [:D][:D][:D]

And a rookie runs out of gas and still coasts across the finish line for the win at Indy. Unbelievable.

Well, in fairness, he ran out during the victory lap.
His final lap was 40mph slower than his previous lap. In an effort to conserve fuel.
Which was still 10 mph faster than the fastest lap in Charlotte today.

I just couldn't brave the crowd. Had a lot of neighbors go though.

Saw about half the Monaco. Was hoping Hamilton would crash again but no such luck.
Saw about 5 minutes of Indy, making potato salad, and cooking hamburgers and brats during that. Ten laps to go when we sat down to eat.
NASSCAR on now, not paying much attention, just for noise.
Look now and then to see where Danica is. She's in the top 22, hot dam!

There were over 350,000 in attendance for the Indy race. I wonder if NASCAR has had that many fans this year so far in all the races combined?
